Kings Park-Perth

One of the star attractions in Perth is Kings Park. On a hill within 15minutes walk of the city centre it is gorgeous. The Swan brewery on the Swan river below. 

Botanical gardens with the famous wildflowers of WA. We were there at the best time with so much colour. Said to be 2000 species in the park of the 8000 in WA

Boab a long way from home
Many of the trees have memorial plaques to soldiers killed in the two world wars. About 4000 plaques.
These poor guys must have been killed on the death march when the POWS were forced by the japanese to keep walking until all but 6 who escaped were dead
