Merrimbula christmas 2014

From Canberra to Tathra and a night in a cabin. Beautiful coastline but small town.
30kms to Merrimbula. Two nights at the camp site then into the Gardens motel for four nights over xmas. Good. Meals at the Sapphire club were excellent and good value. The best being the schnitzel lunch at $5.90 with veg and gravy. Das wetter war zeimlich wechsalhaft with big storms then sun for four days. Eden an oldie world interesting place with the best fish and chips near the wharf. A whale hunting town in days gone by where the killer whales would bring other whales into the harbour the whalers and killer whales would share the kill. Beautiful walks on the beach and cliffs and great swimming. Ex YHA was up for sale. Great condition but nearly all dorm beds.

Sydney and storms

Two days in Sydney and a big storm each day. Jackpot is Sunday for transport when a day ticket is $2.50 with an opal card instead of $23
