Karajini national park-west Australia

Three great days in the most peaceful, beautiful bush camping at Dales Gorge. Watch out for the blue asbestos.
From Port Headland about 300kms to Karajini with one roadhouse along the way. Two cyclists were going the same way along the hot dry road. Karajini campground has nothing but pit toilets and BBQs but is very spacious and we like it heaps. Volunteer hosts allocate sites. Water from a bore 10kms away. Great visitor centre with $2 showers. Not needed as swimming in Fern Pool was magic.
Three days of walking through the gorge and along the rim.
Met Philip and Julie who invited us to dinner at their van. Brilliant evening. Philip had stocked theire huge van with wine from Dan Murphy in Sydney a few weeks before.

We enjoyed pizza and red wine with Philip and Julie at their campervan. A welcome change from tuna and pasta at the tent. Lovely people
