Wonderful flight with Royal Brunei from Melbourne. Dreamliner aircraft very nice. Bahia hotel fine but airport pick up not at airport.  A young Brunei brother and sister gave us a lift from airport. Lovely people. Enough sites for two days and very easy but as Ramadan started no eating outside of hotel until sunset at 6.30pm . At airport we all waited with burger king and kfc until 6.30

Seoul May 2017

Bridge over the Han river with Lotte tower behind

 Seraksan national park

Firing fireworks on the sea front

 Winter olympics venue.
Another feast. Lucky for me that aprons are provided. The children didn't need them. Makoli to drink

Seoul fish market breakfast

 Underground train with safety doors

Raw fish for breakfast. Better than the  live octopus side dish

Seoul tourist sites

We visited two palaces in the centre. In addition to the smart guards some people were dressed in hangbok traditional dress

Air gun to clean dirt from your shoes after a walk. Not needed if a wild boar has got you.

 Korean cutlery often includes scissors

Sea food pancakes and makali in Insadong

Sout Korea Cheonan

Cheonan city centre. Only one hour from Seoul on the bus courtesy of the bus lane.
Great food and an Izone in 7 Eleven.

Dinner at the home of one of Youngmi's school friends
A snake at the buddist monastery. I am glad I didn't sit on the rock

Blossom all around the monastery- beautiful

 Monastery lunch -very healthy

Kimchi pots in te Background as a 19cm from Lotteria is offered.

South Korea Seoul

You can't go wrong with Bibimbap. We caught the limousine bus from Incheon airport to the suburb where Youngmi's sister lives. Worked well but on the return we used the subway which was about 4,000won instead of 20,000 and about the same time.
Sister lives in one of many apartments in Seoul on the 30th floor. The view was great. It was presidential election time with posters everywhere
